Sushant’s Father To Take Legal Action Against Sanjay Raut Over ‘Second Marriage’ Comment

Shiv Sena’s Sanjay Raut has made some explosive statements in connection to late Sushant Singh Rajput and his ongoing death case. The politician made personal remarks at Sushant’s family and his father K K Singh in his weekly column 'Rokhthok' in Sena's party mouthpiece 'Saamana'. His views have stirred up a storm online.

Sanjay Raut went on to write about Sushant’s relationship with his father K K Singh and made some shocking claims. He wrote, "His father's second marriage was not acceptable to him (Rajput). Let the facts come out how many times Rajput visited his family in Patna. Why did (Rajput's former girlfriend) Ankita Lokhande split from Rajput and this should be part of the probe. It is wrong to see the unfortunate suicide from a political angle.”

Sanjay Raut’s unfiltered views have invited outrage from Sushant Singh Rajput’s fans. The Shiv Sena politician has been trending on Twitter and fans have left no stone unturned in slamming the MP for his remarks against the late actor.

Enraged over his comments, Sushant’s father has warned legal action against Saamana editor Sanjay Raut and Sushant's brother Neeraj Bablu has demanded a public apology from Raut for his comments on KK Singh's second marriage.

Calling the news 'completely false', Bablu warned that if Sanjay Raut does not publicly apologize, Sushant's family would take legal action against him. Neeraj Bablu released a statement which read, "Sanjay Raut has to apologize for his statement in which he has said that Sushant Singh's father KK Singh had done two marriages. This news is completely false. If Sanjay Raut does not publicly apologize, Sushant Singh's family will take legal action against him."

In his column, Raut also addressed the tussle between two governments, Maharashtra and Bihar, over jurisdiction, Sanjay Raut claimed that the case was being politicised and 'pressure tactics' were used. He wrote, "If one wants to indulge in politicisation and pressure tactics, anything can happen in our country. It looks like the script of Sushant's case was already written. Whatever has happened behind the curtains is a conspiracy against Maharashtra.”

 He further added that the transfer of the case to CBI, based on Patna Police's FIR, was a "direct attack on the state's (Maharashtra) autonomy".   

The politician defended the investigation by Mumbai Police and said it is the "best investigating agency in the world" who have worked on cases like the Sheena Bora murder case and the 26/11 terror attack. He also alleged that the BJP has decided to "malign it and with the help of news channels." 

In other news, Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty along with her brother Showik Chakraborty and father reached the Enforcement Directorate for the second round of investigation in connection to the money laundering angle in Sushant’s death case.
