Suriya ‘all safe and back home’, brother shares health update after Covid-19 diagnosis

South superstar Suriya had tested positive for Covid-19 earlier this month. In the latest update, the actor is now back home and all safe.
Suriya’s brother actor Karthi assured all his fans as he shared an update on the actor’s health. “Anna is back home and all safe! Will be in home quarantine for a few days. Can’t thank you all enough for the prayers and best wishes!” Kartik tweeted.

He wrote in Tamil, “I am undergoing treatment for Covid-19 and am better now. Let us all realise that life hasn’t returned to normalcy yet. We also cannot be filled with fear and let life come to a standstill. We still need to be careful and safe. Lots of love and gratitude to the dedicated doctors and medical staff standing by my side.”
Meanwhile, on the work, Suriya was recently seen in the Tamil biographical drama, Soorarai Pottru, based on the life of Captain GR Gopinath of Air Deccan. The film opted for a direct to digital release.
Next up, Suriya has completed shooting for upcoming Netflix original film Navarasa, which marks his reunion with director Gautham Menon after many years.
