Sunny Singh's latest movie 'Ujda Chaman' recently released and the movie has received critical acclaim, especially for Sunny's character Chaman in the movie. The movie saw a good footfall during the opening weekend charting Rs. 7.25 crores at the box office.
Sunny Singh's movie charted higher numbers than Made in China starring Rajkummar Rao and Saand Ki Aankh starring Tapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar which collected Rs. 3.75 crores and Rs. 2.5 crores respectively. Ujda Chaman minted more than twice the amount on its opening day and fans are loving the actor in the lead.
Sunny Singh is a recent entry into Bollywood and has managed to outperform both the movies during the first weekend. Saand Ki Aankh is directed by Anurag Kashyap whereas Made in China has Rajkummar Rao in the lead, both movies have an ensemble line up that has been in the industry for years.
Sunny Singh received a lot of critical acclaims and love from the audience for his performance in Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and this time around, he has surely taken over the box office with Ujda Chaman.
Meanwhile, a few weeks ago, the first trailer of Ayushmann Khurrana’s Bala dropped in, which interestingly revolves around the similar subject of premature balding. Like Ujda Chaman, this film too showcases the problem of baldness faced by men and the societal remarks associated with it. Now, with two films based on a similar plotline, it will be nothing less than a battleground on the box office, or to be more precise, a Bald Battle.
While the film has kicked-off on a good opening, we are eager to witness its success in the coming weeks and hope audiences connect to the character of Chaman.
Sunny Singh as Chaman will surely entertain you with his super performance!
