Suniel Shetty Approves Daughter Athiya’s Love Story with KL Rahul!

Athiya Shetty has been making headlines for her rumored relationship with cricketer KL Rahul. While nothing concrete has surfaced yet, the duo is often spotted together making public appearances and enjoying dinner dates. They have neither accepted their relationship nor denied it, but their social media PDA has a different story to tell. They often leave quirky comments on each other's posts, which only further hints at something brewing between them.

A close friend of Athiya and Rahul revealed that their friendship slowly turned into a romance. They had always been friends but weren’t dating each other and they try to spend as much time together, despite their busy schedules. 

And to add a cherry to the cake, papa Suniel Shetty too approves of their relationship! In a recent interview with Zoom TV, the actor was quizzed about his daughter’s love life, to which he literally had the best answer ever.

Stating that Athiya discusses everything with him, Suniel answered: “I have always looked at it that way. Whoever Athiya is seeing, whoever Ahan is seeing, as long as they respect their respective partners. More so Ahan, he respects his partner. What would one ask for? Nothing. And there's nothing in the world she (Athiya) doesn't discuss with us or discuss with me and that is why we have a relationship that is absolutely gorgeous.”

Earlier too, Suniel had affirmed Athiya’s relationship with KL Rahul and told BT:  “Absolutely love them and I think more than a profession, being happy in life is very important today because that is the space I think that is missing. We were all happy, we grew up happy.”

Well, that’s some good news for the couple!
