Sumona Chakravarti opens up on rumors of her quitting 'The Kapil Sharma Show'

Considering how comedian Kapil Sharma's journey on the small screen is almost a decade old, there have been quite a constant development that he and the several comedy shows he has created have gone through. However, throughout this decade-long journey, only three names have been a constant with Kapil ranging from Comedy Nights with Kapil to The Kapil Sharma Show - and those are Chandan Prabhakar, Kiku Sharda and Sumona Chakravarti.

And talking about Chakravarti, there has been recent rumors that the actor is all set to quit the comedy realit yshow owing to her being roped in for travel-based series, Shonar Bengal.

However, in a recent interaction, the actor clarified that she has not quit The Kapil Sharma Show and there are no plans of leaving it even in the future. She added that the show Shonar Bengal is only a month-long commitment.

She mentioned that she chose to do it as she is a Bengali who loves to travel. She further said that the show has given her a chance to explore the folklore and history of Bengal, something she hasn't had the chance to experience firsthand.

It is definitely a relief for the fans of the show and the fans of the actor to realise that she is not quitting the show and continues to be a part of the journey.
