Kanjeevaram: Pooja Banerjee
Kanjeevaram sarees are the magnificent creation of craftsmen from Kanchi region in Tamil Nadu. These sarees are made by using numerous coloured threads and completed with Zari work. The motifs designed on these sarees, mostly depict Pallava temples, palaces, and paintings. However, tribal designs and contemporary patterns are also seen.
Kasauti Zindagii Kay 2 actress Pooja Banerjee recently sported a pink Kanjeevaram saree, detailed with golden zari work. She looked totally elegant in this traditional attire.
Mekhela Chador: Nia Sharma
Unlike regular saree draping, Mekhela Chador is folded around the body, without pleats.
Jamdani Work: Aashka Goradia
Jamdani sarees originated in ancient Bengal during the time of Mughal rule. Jamdani is woven using a mixture of cotton and golden threads. Recently, Aashka Goradia was seen wearing a beautiful linen saree with Jamdani work in white and red.

Banarasi sarees are made in Varanasi, India. It is one of the finest and expensive sarees in India. Most women wear it on their wedding day and so, Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 actress, Hina Khan donned a beautiful red Banarasi for the wedding scene in the show. She completed her look with a waistband and looked regal in red.
Chanderi: Tina Dutta
Chanderi sarees are made in the Chanderi region of Madhya Pradesh. It emerged and flourished during the Mughal period. The essence of Chanderi saree is in its simplicity and elegance. Women in India prefer to wear this saree on auspicious occasions. Actress Tina Datta dolled up in a Chanderi saree for Saraswati Puja. The white saree was detailed with golden thread work.
