Star Plus brings out the classic tale of the victory of good over evil- The Mahabharata. The show is being recreated by some of the stalwarts of the entertainment industry including Bobby Bedi, Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi, Barrie Osborn, Amardeep Behl, Farrukh Dhondy, Ranjit Kapoor and Talvin Singh. They come together with Star Plus to present ’s greatest epic that has left an indelible mark on the hearts and minds of the audience with its timeless values and teachings. Mahabharata aims to capture the essence of one of the greatest legends ever told, not only in a style that is entertaining, but it will have state of the art techniques of styling, graphics, and animation and design elements. It will be an amalgamation of the old and the new.

Speaking on directing the mega epic, Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi says, “It is a huge challenge by itself to make an epic of the stature of Mahabharata in today’s world. I made an attempt to re-create the saga through Ek Aur Mahabharata and failed. But yet I took up the challenge and have decided to make a sincere effort to present this incomparable epic with reference to the metro sexual age.

So, stay tuned to catch the popular historical epic series, Mahabharata, recreating history on Indian Television only on Star Plus.
