Star Bharat's Jiji Maa challenges the bond of sisterhood!

Star Bharat's Jiji Maa narrates a heartfelt story of two Sisters Falguni Purohit and Niyati Purohit who hail from Jaipur in Rajasthan. Falguni, the elder sister is an epitome of love and sacrifice who will wholeheartedly stand the test of time laid down by Uttaradevi Rawat, who plays the antagonist of the show. Falguni will be in the line of fire for her little sister Niyati without a blink.

Jiji Maa is written by Mayur Puri, the Bollywood writer of Om Shanti Om and Happy New Year. The show is directed by Rohit Raj Goyal. and TV actors Pallavi Pradhan as Uttaradevi Rawat and Rajeev Paul as Jayant Rawat will be seen in crucial roles in. The show ensemble also comprises of actors Dishank Arora as Suyash Rawat and Shubhashish Jha as Vidhan Rawat.

In the plot-line, a cruel twist of fate tries to challenge the bond of sisterhood, when Uttaradevi defies Falguni to give up on her motherhood for the sake of Sisterhood. Falguni has to make one of the hardest decisions of her life by giving up her chance of being a mother for her sister. Producers Jay & Kinnari Mehta of Jay Productions shared their views on the new show, "Stories on relationships have always worked well in the Indian TV space. With Jiji Maa, we have an array of emotions flowing between the two sisters Falguni and Niyati. Falguni of course has a dual role to play so eventually she rises to the occasion without a second thought. It's the beauty of this relationship that will capture many hearts. --Amulya-- 2 years ago @MahaSrilu, LOL we telugu audience knew it right away. That serial is a crap-fest which I get a glimpse whenever I (rarely) roam in the hall as maa tv is the channel which is the most (out of all the least) watchable telugu channel right now in the evenings.
