SSR Death Case: NCB arrests celebrity manager Rahila Furniturewala, businessman Karan Sajnani

In the latest development in the drugs case associated with the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, the NCB has made two new arrests.

The Narcotics Control Bureau has arrested celebrity manager Rahila Furniturewala and businessman Karan Sajnani in the drugs case. The two of them were taken into custody on Thursday and after hours of interrogation, they were arrested.

Besides, the NCB also arrested another drug peddler on Thursday. The NCB official revealed that they have arrested a person named Jagtap Singh Anand who is connected to Karamjeet Singh, who was arrested earlier in connection to peddling drugs.

"Narcotics Control Bureau makes another arrest of one Jagtap Singh Anand in connection with drug cases related to Sushant Singh Rajput's death. He is associated with another accused Karamjeet Singh who was arrested earlier," NCB official said.

Sushant Singh Rajput was reportedly found hanging at his Bandra house in Mumbai. The Central Bureau of Investigation is probing the case along with other agencies like the Enforcement Directorate and NCB.

 Rajput’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik were arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau under charges of procurement and consumption of drugs. The duo is now out on bail.
