Recently, Filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli was sighted at the renowned Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles where he screened his magnum opus "RRR" just hours before he arrived for the Golden Globe Awards with starring males Jr NTR and Ram Charan. The film, which was screened at the largest IMAX theatre in the world, received two Globe nominations for Best Foreign Language Film and Best Original Song.

According to reports, moviegoers, critics, and fans came to the theater and waited in lengthy lines to experience the magic of the movie, which is expected to be a hot favourite for the awards season.

According to reports, the tickets for the major screening reportedly sold out in just 98 seconds. A tweet from the theatre read,  "It's official and it's historic. @RRRMovie sold out the @ChineseTheatres @IMAX in 98 seconds. There has never been a screening like this of an Indian film before because there has never been a film like RRR before. Thank you @ssrajamouli @tarak9999 @AlwaysRamCharan @mmkeeravaani."

While a group of Indian fans were captured in theater photos brandishing banners and posters as they waited in line to enter. As a part of a push to get the movie nominated for an Academy Award in the Best Film category, some people were even seen carrying "RRR For Oscars" stickers. In addition, as they went wild over the song Naatu Naatu, the crowd also started shaking their legs to the groovy track.

For the unversed, 'RRR' which also stars Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Shriya Saran, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody, and Olivia Morris, centres around two real-life Indian revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju (Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Rama Rao), who form a friendship and fight against the colonialist British crown in the 1920s.
