SS Rajamouli finds Jr NTR’s heroine in American beauty Emma Roberts for RRR?

Ever since its inception, SS Rajamouli’s mega-budget directorial RRR has been making headlines because of the powerful names connected with it. With stars like Ram Charan and Jr NTR in the lead role and Bollywood actors Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn’s first Telugu-language period action film, the audience has been excited to watch the stellar star cast perform together. 

While Alia has been paired opposite Ram Charan, Rajamouli has been on a search for Jr NTR’s heroine. Earlier, the director had roped in British actress Daisy Edgar Jones, but now that she has walked out of the project and after much contemplation, he is planning to rope in American beauty Emma Roberts. As per recent reports from Tollywood.net, if everything goes as planned, she will be seen sharing the screen space with Jr NTR.

Emma Roberts is popularly known for her roles in several movies like Lymelife, 4.3.2.1., Scream 4, Adult World, We’re the Millers, Palo Alto, The Blackcoat’s Daughter, and Nerve.

Earlier, Alia Bhatt had opened up about being a part of RRR, she said, “Now, I am doing the preparation for it. I can't reveal the details of the film because I don't know whether I am supposed to talk about the film, but... I am feeling really grateful as I wished in my heart that I wanted to work Rajamouli sir and that wish has been fulfilled now, so I feel immense gratitude. It's my first time to work in the South Indian film industry, so I am really excited.”

Produced by DVV Danayya under DVV Entertainment and directed by SS Rajamouli, RRR is based on the lives of real-life freedom fighters Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem back in the 1920s and will release worldwide on July 30, 2020, in ten Indian languages simultaneously.
