The Badshah of Bollywood has yet again impressed his fans with his amicable take on Religion. A video of him from, expressing that no religion is imposed inside his house, has gone viral over the Internet.
Shah Rukh Khan made a special guest appearance at the dance reality show, Dance Plus Season 5, on the occasion of Republic Day. Talking about religion, he said that he has taught his children that they are Indians with no religion. He said, "Humne kabhi Hindu-Musalman ki baat hi nahi ki. Meri biwi jo hai Hindu hai, main Musalman hu aur mere jo bachche hai woh Hindustan hain. (We never talked about Hindu and Muslims. My wife is Hindu, I'm Muslim and my children are Hindustan)."
His harmonious views seem to have impressed all his fans, and the video has been circulating online with fans lauding their favorite star for his comment.
SRK continued to share: "Kai baar school main woh bharna padta hai ki religion kya hai. Jab meri beti chhoti thi toh usne aake pucha mujhse ki papa hum kaunse religion ke hai. Toh maine usme ye likha ki hum Indian hi hain yaar. Koi religion nahi hai. Aur hona bhi nahi chahiye. (In school we have to write our religion. When my daughter was young she asked me what religion we belong to. I told her that we are Indians and have no religion)."
The actor has always maintained his stance when it comes to religion, and in fact, he had stated that every religion is welcomed in his house and they celebrate all festivals, in an earlier interview.
"I gave my son and daughter names that could pass for generic (pan-India and pan-religious) ones - Aryan and Suhana. The Khan has been bequeathed by me so they can’t really escape it” SRK had said.
This proves it all that why he is known as the King Khan of Bollywood!
Meanwhile, on the work front, Shah Rukh Khan has been on an intentional break from the movies, after his last project Zero. However, he has been offered a number of scripts, and will soon announce his new projects.
