Bollywood superstar Sridevi left for heavenly abode due to accidental drowning on February 24 in Dubai, where she attended a wedding along with her husband Boney Kapoor. Her sudden death left family, friends and thousands of fans in a state of shock. Madame Tussauds has decided to add Srivedi’s wax figure as a tribute to the late actor on her 56th birth anniversary on August 13. Also, daughter Janhvi Kapoor jetted off to Singapore to unveil her late mother’s wax figure tomorrow, September 4, 2019.
Late Sridevi’s husband and filmmaker Boney Kapoor shared a video on Twitter which gave a glimpse of the actress’ wax figure. The 11-second clip confirms that the statue is modeled on her iconic Hawa Hawai avatar from Mr. India. He wrote, “Sridevi lives forever in not just our hearts but also in the hearts of millions of her fans. Eagerly waiting to watch the unveiling of her figure at Madame Tussauds, Singapore on September 4, 2019. #SrideviLivesForever”, alongside the video.

Indian users can watch the broadcast from 7:30 am onwards.

Sridevi was best known for her iconic performances in films like in films Nagina, Judaai, Chandni, Chaalbaaz, Himmatwala, Lamhe, Gumrah, English Vinglish amongst many. Her last film, Mom, was also a hit and she also received the Best Actress National Award for her performance in the film.
