Actress Sayli Salunkhe is all set to make her debut as a lead in Stra Bharta’s upcoming show ‘Bahot Pyaar Karte Hain’ (Sandiip Films). The actress is currently seen in Colors’ show ‘Spy Bahu’ (Viniyard Productions) while her promos as the lead in the Star Bharat show have also hit the TV screens and have been getting praises.
India Forums got in touch with Sayli Salunkhe and asked her about her decision of quitting Spy Bahu and accepting the offer of ‘Bahot Pyaar Karte Hain’, she said, “Well, I’m really fond of Sandiip Sickand. I’ve worked with him for ‘Mehndi Hai Rachne Wali’ and absolutely adored the team. While I also love working with Viniyard Production (Spy Bahu Production), I got offered a lead role and was keen on reuniting with Sandiip sir. I also found the character brief quite interesting”.
Usually, actors don’t part ways on a good term with the producers if they leave the project mid-way. We asked Sayli about her discussion with ‘Spy Bahu’ producers, she said, “Ashwini Yardi of Viniyard Productions has been very considerate. I called her up and narrated the entire scenario and she stated that she won’t come in between the growth in my career and allowed me to take up ‘Bahot Pyaar Karte Hain’. I'm so grateful for the understanding that Ashwini mam showed. I have some shoot portions for ‘Spy Bahu’ left for shoot. Currently, I’m juggling between both the shows”.
When asked about bidding an adieu to the cast of the show, Salunkhe said, “I’ve managed to have some life-long bonds with the cast of ‘Spy Bahu’. We still daily do a video-call and chat. It’s kind of a ritual for us. When my on-screen brothers Sehban, Ram and Devashish heard about me bidding adieu to the show, they made me so emotional. But honestly, I feel, we will meet up often because they’re here to stay in my heart for a long time now (smiles)”.
