She advises it is wise to be particular when choosing jewellery but it should be an ideal mix of statement pieces.

Following are some jewellery items that are going to be a party must-have this season:

Cocktail ring - A cocktail ring is a must-have in your jewellery box. Bold, stylish yet elegant, it completes the look and is best suited for the diva in you.

Coloured neckpiece - It's time to go colourful and experiment with multicoloured jewellery which can be teamed with different looks for the day and evening. Neckpieces encrusted with rubies, sapphires and emeralds are currently in vogue. Choose the one that looks best on you as per you skin tone and steal the show.

Detachable bangle - Multi-wearable jewellery is best suited for the modern woman who believes in timeless versatility and at the same time, wishes to make a style statement every time she steps out.

Drop earrings - A set of drop earrings is certain to make you the showstopper this season. Team drop earrings with a stylish dress and you are ready for the perfect evening.

Fancy brooch - Accessorise your look with opulent brooches set in multicoloured stones and diamonds showcasing a unique combination of glitz and class. If your style quotient is very high, you can wear a brooch as a pendant or even hitch it on your clutch.
