Sony TV's 'Ek Duje Ke Vaaste' to return with a new season
The makers are keen on bringing the magic again!!

While many TV shows are marking their exit from the industry, there are some who are returning with their new seasons. After the recent comeback of very popular medical TV drama Sanjivani 2, this time news is coming from Ek Duje Ke Vaaste. The makers are planning to return with the second season with the much-loved series.
It has been three years since the time the first season's inception. As per the reports of Bombay Times, the second season will hit in December and currently, the casting is under process.
A little birdie informs BT that season one of the show was appreciated by the audience and that they wanted to bring it back with a new season. They are positive that they will be able to recreate the magic. Now they are in the process of locking the story and the cast of the show.
Vishal Mehra who is heading the project confirmed the news to the daily and said that the essence of ‘EDKV’, a love story, will be the foundation of the upcoming season as well. The new edition will be set in Bhopal and scouting for actors in Bhopal, Gwalior, and Indore to play the lead couple is underway.
The first season of EDKV was a blast and it made Nikita Dutta and Namik Paul popular names in every household.

wow finally edkv is getting a sequel 😊 It was really an amazing show! Well deserved to get a sequel. I understand most fans here r upset with the fact the cast won't be the same, i also agree namik n nikita's chemistry was the best thing about the show, but the thing is most of the ITV shows that had a sequel didn't have the same cast. I hope the sequel will also be amazing like the first one

I want ek duje ke vaaste to come back only if same nikita and namik with other same cast. Otherwise there's no need for the to come back

They should Cast ADITI RATHORE as LEAD this time with ZAIN IMAN...….it will be Superb Casting as they have EXCELLENT CHEMISTRY and are ICONIC JODI of ITV. Also the EDKV will be a good love story for them.

More than the story , it was the chemistry of the lead actors that created the magic . So without the lead actors returning, EDKV will not pull the old viewers ,
