Actor Sonu Sood has set an admirable example after he set out to help migrant workers reach back home. The actor has been continuously arranging buses to help the workers travel back home from Maharashtra amid the lockdown and lack of travel facilities.
Sonu started by arranging ten buses for 350 migrant workers to help them reach their homes in Karnataka and has continued to send the workers back home across different cities. His efforts are being praised and lauded by other celebrities.
The actor has also been responding to requests on Twitter to help them travel back home. However, Sonu also came across a few funny requests and had the best reply to such requests.
A user asked Sonu to help him reunite with his girlfriend in Bihar. “Bhaiya, girlfriend se hi milwa dijiye. Bihar hi jaana hai. (Brother, help me get to my girlfriend, she’s in Bihar)” the user wrote.
To this, the actor had the wittiest reply and tweeted back: “Thode din door reh ke dekh le bhai, sache pyaar ki pareeksha bhi ho jayegi (Try to stay apart for a few days bro, it’ll be the acid test for your relationship).”

Mujhe theke tak pahucha do (Brother, I am stuck at my home, please help me reach a liquor shop)” the user had written.
Sonu’s reply came: “Bhai main theke se ghar tak to pahucha sakta hu, zarurat pade to bol dena (Brother, I can help you reach home from a liquor shop, if you need help do tell me).”

“I had come to Mumbai with just Rs 5,500 and have earned enough. My mother would say ‘life is all about giving’. If I can’t give back to the society, then this isn’t a good life I am leading. Thinking about what these people are going through while I’m in the comforts of my home, gives me sleepless nights” Sonu had told Hindustan Times in an interview.
