Sonia Rathee on working with R Madhavan in Decoupled

Actress Sonia Rathee was loved by the audience for her character Rumi Desai in Broken But Beautiful 3 alongside the late Siddharth Shukla. The duo was and loved by millions for their amazing onscreen chemistry. And she considers herself lucky for getting a chance to work with Siddharth.

Sonia will be seen in the upcoming web series Decoupled alongside R Madhavan. The trailer of the series was released recently and the actress is very excited for her role ‘Masha’ where she shares the screen space with one of the finest actors in the industry R Madhavan.

Talking about her character in the series, Sonia said, “So, I got to play Masha, a 25-year-old flight attendant. She’s a confident and independent woman out to conquer the world. Because she started working from a young age, she had to grow up fast which meant she missed out on the typical teenage debauchery that her counter parts were able to experience. Now that her life is finally in balance, she’s ready to live the moments she couldn’t before”.

Talking about her working experience with Madhavan in ‘Decoupled’ Sonia shared: “We shot this about a year ago, so technically he was the first actor I ever shared screen space with and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. He’s an incredible actor and there was just so much to learn from him. It was a beautiful experience to work with someone who is as kind and talented as him and the learning from this experience is something that I will forever hold on to.”
