Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja's Delhi residence looted, cash and jewellery worth Rs 1.41 crore missing

For Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja's admirers, the day began with some disturbing news. The couple's New Delhi house was robbed and cash and jewellery valued at Rs 1.41 crore was stolen. According to a report by a news channel, Sonam Kapoor's mother-in-law was the first to run to the Tughlaq Road police station to report the crime at their house. Given the high-profile nature of the case, senior Delhi Police officers quickly seized control of the situation and organized investigating squads.

Sonam and Anand's personnel are being questioned in the investigation, according to ABP News Marathi. According to the article, the Delhi Police is interrogating 25 employees, as well as 9 caretakers, drivers, gardeners, and other personnel. 

Not only the Delhi Police, but also the FSL is collecting evidence from the crime site. Because the case was so high-profile, it was kept under wraps. The inquiry is ongoing, and the perpetrators are yet to be identified.

According to the reports, Sonam's father-in-law Harish Ahuja and mother-in-law Priya Ahuja live with Anand's grandma Sarla Ahuja at the Delhi mansion on Amrita Shergill Marg. Sarla Ahuja (grandmother) said in her complaint that she discovered the theft on February 11 when she checked her cabinets for jewellery and cash. 

On February 23, the complaint was filed. She told the cops that the last time she looked at the jewellery was two years ago.

The police began investigating the theft case at Sonam and Anand's home after receiving the report. They're also looking through CCTV video from the previous year to see if there are any suspects in the case. According to a report published last month, Sonam's father-in-law's company was defrauded of Rs 27 crore. A total of ten persons were detained as a result of this incident.

Sonam and Anand are now in Mumbai and are expecting their first child. She is currently staying with her father, Anil Kapoor.
