Sonam Kapoor - Anand Ahuja’s love story is a Fairytale; Actress opens up on Married life

After years of dating, Sonam Kapoor tied the knot with Anand Ahuja in a fairytale wedding in 2018. The couple tied the knot in a traditional Anand Karaj ceremony and then hosted a grand reception for the Bollywood friends and family.

The power couple manages to make their fans go all mushy with their loved up pictures and romantic messages on social media. In a recent chat with Cosmopolitan India, Sonam spoke about her married life and stated that "It's been beautiful! To have someone like Anand as a life partner is a blessing. I have never been happier.”

Sonam and Anand have to face the trouble of long-distance as the two work in different cities and time cycles. While the super actress is based in Mumbai, her businessman husband is mostly based out of London. However, the Neerja star says that this does not affect their relationship. 

"Life hasn't changed much. Of course, I am more in love with him than ever before, but, in terms of work, it's the same. We give each other's work a lot of importance. So, we understand. Besides, we always make it a point to take time out for each other. On days we can't, we have a mutual understanding. The key is effective and clear communication, which we always maintain,” Sonam said.

When asked about the biggest takeaway from her relationship is, Sonam answered, "Being with the right person puts everything else in motion. Anand and I truly believe in empowering, loving, and supporting each other. The fact that I can be myself with him is the most important part of us."

On the professional front, Sonam will next be seen in The Zoya Factor, co-starring Dulquer Salmaan. The film is based on the adaptation of Anuja Chauhan's novel of the same name and is slated to hit the screens on September 20.
