Sonam Kapoor Ahuja is the Kapoor Clan's Lucky Charm!

The Kapoor clan is undoubtedly one of B-town’s most talked about family. The new-gen actors from the family have proved to continue the legacy of impressive acting run by the predecessors of the kin. However, what keeps the extensive family intact is the love and care shared by one and each through all walks of life. 

Talking of the same, Anil Kapoor, who is a doting father to daughters Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Rhea Kapoor, and son Harshvardhan never fails to shower his love for his loving children. And, interestingly, the Mr. India actor has a lucky mascot amongst his kids!

The firstborn of Anil and wife Sunita, Sonam is considered to be lucky for the former’s career growth. The family believes that it was after the birth of Sonam in 1985, that Anil Kapoor started giving some major blockbusters. And, these hit films helped him to carve his niche in Bollywood and the rest is history! The 62-year-old actor still continues to be one of the best in the business and can easily give any actor a run for their money.

And to add onto the trivia, the Neerja actress is named Sonam, because it means lucky or Lady Luck. Post Sonam’s birth, daddy Kapoor was flooded with offers and his films started delivering big at the box office, resulting in a huge fan following. Anil Kapoor gave blockbusters like Karma (1986), Mr.India (1987), Tezaab (1988), Ram Lakhan (1989) and many more in the later years. 

Sonam got married to businessman Anand Ahuja in 2018. She will next be seen opposite Dulquer Salmaan in Abhishek Sharma’s Zoya Factor, which is slated to release on 20 September 2019. 

Also, Sonam took to her Instagram to post an intriguing video a few minutes back and captioned it as, "Ye lucky nahi, khud luck hai! Bringing you India’s lucky charm, shubh ghadi dekhte hi!---This is not lucky but luck itself is here! All will be revealed tomorrow! Get ready to meet Indis'a lucky charm."
