Sonam, Anil and Arjun Kapoor seem elated as a chowk in Mumbai gets named after their grandfather

The revered and infamous family of Kapoor's is nowhere short of recognition it deserves after entertaining a myriad of people for decades. A recent news entails a street named after them in Mumbai. A legacy has been successfully maintained ever since Surinder Kapoor, made his mark in the industry. The legacy has never proved short of the talent and substance which was once served to the community by him. 

A chowk has been named after the family and this is nowhere short of an accomplishment. The entire family including Sonam K Ahuja, Arjun Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor and other members of their family were present at the celebration ceremony. Arjun Kapoor has further shared a series of tweets and videos showcasing his gratitude and respect for the family and it's history whole celebrating the legacy.

Arjun Kapoor shared a series of Tweets and all the faces were beaming bright with joy. Talking about his grandfather, Arjun wrote on Twitter,"He came to this city with my grandmother not knowing what the future holds for him. He was maybe an outsider to this industry but he carved his way thru from being an assistant in Mughal e azam to having his kids."

 Arjun Kapoor will be seen next in an upcoming project alongside Preet Singh however Sonam is yet to announce her next project. Anil, on the other hand is awaiting his upcoming release of much awaited 'Malang' which is set to hit the theaters later in February alongside his work with 'Takth', the Karan Johar's much awaited project.
