Bollywood actor Salman Khan is currently in Dubai to promote 'Freaky Ali. A popular tabloid had earlier reported that Sohail Khan took a toll on Hrithik Roshan by comparing him with Nawazuddin Siddique. He was quoted stating that he (Hrithik) cannot become like Nawaz even in 10 years. Since then the news has spread like a wild fire on the social media.
However, another report in an online portal has a different story to tell. The report has quoted a source that claims that Sohail Khan's intention was not to hurt and insult Hrithik but to appreciate him instead.
The report quoted the source saying that, "When Nawaz was asked about not being able to dance well at the promotional event, Sohail defended the Freaky Ali hero. Khan never compared Hrithik's acting to Nawaz. In fact, he praised Roshan's dancing and spoke of how Hrithik can never dance like Nawazuddin even if he tries in ten years. It was meant to be a sarcastic statement and not what has been reported by the media. There was no talk of Hrithik's acting, it was a remark made in jest about Nawaz's inability to dance like other conventional Bollywood actors". [sic]
Well, this isn't the first time when an actor has been misquoted in the media. Actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan have even fallen prey to controversies for being misquoted in the media earlier.
