It brings a smile to our faces whenever we recall childhood memories. When Soha Ali Khan recalled the old-world charm of her ancestral home, Pataudi Palace, something similar happened. In an interview with a news portal, the actress shared some beautiful words about the beautiful palace.

She claims that visiting the Pataudi Palace brings her closer to her late father, cricketer Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi. She considers it his home, and whenever she visits, she pays her respects to his grave and spends time with him. The actress believes there is a special connection between them at the palace.

Furthermore, recalling her childhood days at the palace, Soha Ali Khan reminisced about how simpler life was back then. She described how, back in the day, everyone slept outside under a mosquito net because there were no air conditioners. In addition, because there were no mobile phones, the palace used to completely disconnect them from the outside world.

At the Pataudi, Soha used to play cricket, do organic farming, and participate in a variety of other recreational activities as a child. Even her baby girl, Inaaya, now enjoys farming there. Soha mentioned that they made a salad out of cucumbers and carrots that they grew and harvested themselves at the farm.

Last but not least, the palace provides a sense of closeness to nature, with peacocks, adopted dogs, snakes, and other beauties.
