The buzz around Ramayana continues to grow stronger with each passing day, especially after the recent reveal of Ranbir Kapoor in the role of Lord Rama. The first glimpse has sparked widespread discussion among fans, with many praising the scale and ambition of the project, while others have shared mixed reactions online. With a star studded cast that includes Sai Pallavi, Sunny Deol, and Ravie Dubey, the film is easily one of the most talked about upcoming releases.
Amid this rising anticipation, actress Surabhi Das, who essays the role of Sita’s sister in the film, recently shared her experience of working with the lead cast in an interaction with Bollywood Hungama. Offering a glimpse into the atmosphere on set, Das spoke warmly about her co stars and what it was like being part of such a grand production.
Speaking about Ranbir Kapoor, she said, "He’s very introverted, calm and silent. Rama’s character is quite graceful. If you are like that in real life, it becomes effortless to slip into the part. He does his scene with complete dedication." She went on to add, "I never saw him come out of his character when the cameras were not rolling. He remained in his character. When he comes on the set, he has this energy about him. Aap naa chahte hue bhi aap dekhoge hi unke taraf! He’s so good-looking, and his aura is such that you feel that aapke saamne bhagwan khade hai."

While the film continues to generate excitement, the recently unveiled look of Ranbir Kapoor has also faced a fair share of criticism online, with some audiences questioning the interpretation of the iconic character. Despite the mixed response, the film remains firmly in the spotlight, with viewers eagerly waiting to see how this ambitious retelling unfolds on the big screen.
As anticipation builds around the project, the overall buzz suggests that curiosity remains stronger than the criticism surrounding it. The creative choices, performances, and reinterpretation of a much loved character are all expected to play a key role in shaping audience reception once the film releases.
