Actress Sneha Wagh has been on the tube for a long time now, however, apart from her role in Veera and Jyoti, she has pretty much been on a spree of starring in one historical show after the other on the trot. Be it Sher-E-Punjab: Maharaja Ranjit Singh or Chandrashekhar Azad and most latest in Chandragupta Maurya, Wagh is now all set to make her debut in a mythological show in the form of Kahat Hanuman - Jai Shri Ram. SHe will be playing the role of Lord Hanuman's mother, Anjani Devi in the show.

However, what has been a constant in pretty much every show she has been in is the fact that she has played a mother in spite of being young in real life. Facing the demon of being typecast in the TV industry, after playing a mother in her first show she has only been offered similar roles ever since.

In an interview with Bombay Times, Wagh opened up on how she has no qualms about it as people know that she is a strong actor and can do justice to any character, She further mentioned how she doesn't mind playing a regular heroine in the show, romancing or even getting intimate on-screen but it is frustrating that people don't envision her like that. She also said that she thinks she committed the mistake of playing a mother early on in her career which led her to be typecast. Having said that, she concluded saying she is not complaining but she hopes someone writes a mature character for her with the story revolving around her.
