Silver Fox George Clooney Returns to TV After 22 Long Years!

Recipient of three Golden Globe Awards and two Academy Awards, actor and filmmaker George Clooney is a living legend. The superstar has millions of fans across the globe and and is considered one of the biggest stars of the world. Well, as a fact Clooney started his acting career with television back in 1978 and later rose to fame for his role Dr. Dough Ross in long-running medical drama ER for which he received two prime-time Emmy nominations too. 

The Oscar winner, known for films like Syriana, Gravity and The Monuments Men, also served as executive producer and directed two episodes of the Hulu series set during World War Two about a member of a U.S. bomber squadron fighting the higher-ups in the military bureaucracy.

Now after almost twenty long years, George Clooney will be returning to television this month with an adaptation of Joseph Heller’s Catch 22, a novel whose complexities have been divided into a six part series.

Speaking about it in the press conference Clooney shared that he thinks it’s a fun way to tell a story and it’s hard to tell a story as complex as this one. He also feels that television has become much more interesting and experimental.
