Sighted: Kareena Kapoor

The Fashion Police brings to you a small roundup of the looks that particularly made heads turn, while Kareena Kapoor Khan talked about the much awaited sequel of Bollywood blockbuster Singham.

During the last month, the fashionable begum of Bollywood Kareena Kapoor Khan was seen almost bi-weekly, promoting her latest flick Singham Returns co-starring Ajay Devgn nationwide . And though the sightings were numerous, the diva-quotient of the lovely beauty remained high. Every look and dress she adorned, she owned the style. The Fashion Police brings to you a small roundup of the looks that particularly made heads turn, while the actress talked about the much awaited sequel of Bollywood blockbuster Singham.

This chic and monochromatic Bibhu Mohapatra piece was carried off by Kareena Kapoor very well in the initial promotional appearances. The symmetrical design was toned down with sheer fabric and intelligent cuts. The sleek hairdo only added to the futuristic appeal of the look. The actress paired the ensemble with nude pumps, keeping things minimal. The only gripe we have from Ms. Kapoor is her choice of missing out the tan belt that went with the dress. Without it, the white V band on the neckline caused a little distraction, looking ill thought of. BollyCurry Rating: 3.5/5

For the Ahmadabad promotions of Singham Returns, Kareena Kapoor looked every inch of royalty wearing a Rahul Mishra jamdani kurta creation. One of the very few ethnic dresses she wore on this promotional tour, the ensemble was completed with silver jewelry from Amrapali and mojris to keep the ethnicity going. Sleek open hair and the heavy eyeliner went extremely well with the desi look she sported. BollyCurry Rating: 4/5

In the Delhi leg of promotions, we saw a whimsical side of Ms. Kapoor's wardrobe. Dressed in Ashish N Soni's printed white separates from his Spring Summer 2013 collection which was inspired by microscopic cells and red Valentino pumps, Kapoor pulled off the look with a cuteness that not many in Bollywood could boast to do. The side swept blown hair added glamor to the look and the makeup complimented the choice of attire brilliantly. BollyCurry Rating: 5/5.

For day second of Delhi promotions of Singham Returns, Kapoor went the casual route. Dressed in a printed halter neck top from Zara, a pair of denims and black Saint Laurent pumps, her look was again monochromatic. Though she looked good, absence of any form of accessories did make this look a little more plain than what would have been intended by the actress for a relaxed day two of the tour. BollyCurry Rating: 3.5/5

In the city of Nizams, Hyderabad, we saw Kareena Kapoor go aristocratic in a purple/pink printed dress with intricate beading details by Atsu. A dress that could have gone wrong on many levels (specially tummy area) was carried with such air and grace that it ended up being the best of the lot. Absence of accessories in this case was a very wise decision as the dress in itself was very busy. A sleek ponytail and fresh make up added a nice glow to the look. But it were the silver Valentino lace pumps that took our heart away. BollyCurry Rating: 5/5

Kareena Kapoor Khan has a charm that encompasses every inch of her being and radiates out to touch all who grace her vicinity. Owing to this, one hardly ever sees Bebo being doped down in her appearances even if she goes all wrong. Let us know what you think of Ms. Kapoor's endeavors through the promotions of Singham Returns in terms of styling in the comment box below. Until next time, your fashionable tinsel town resident signs off while giving fashion a lesson or two!
