Sidharth Malhotra is the person behind the title 'Jabariya Jodi'; Find out!

Jabariya Jodi had gone through a lot of confusion over the title of the film. Ultimately, it was the lead actor Sidharth Malhotra who suggested the title of the movie.

The director Prashant Singh shared, "We were initially toying with the title, Shotgun Shaadi. When we were discussing options, I mentioned that it [the practice of groom kidnapping] was referred to as jabariya byah. It was Sidharth who came up with Jabariya Jodi."

Sidharth Malhotra as Abhay Singh leads the pack, as he and his gang abduct these grooms from the most unexpected places where the men get the surprise of a lifetime! Move over surprise parties, and make way for surprise shaadis. 

The Prashant Singh directorial is shot at real locations in Uttar Pradesh to give the right flavour and will witness Sidharth Malhotra essay a rustic character, for the first time ever with Parineeti Chopra. The due is reuniting to deliver one of its kind love stories to the audience- a surprise wedding of the year which is based on the practice of Pakadwa Shaadis. 

The film also stars the varied powerhouses of talent such as Aparshakti Khurana, Sanjay Mishra, Neeraj Sood, Gopal Dutt, Javed Jaffrey, and Chandan Roy Sanyal. With a stellar cast, the movie is set to take over as a new love saga.
