In times of this lockdown, almost every person has been trying to find things that not only keep themselves entertained but also find their 'calling.'
However, there is also a section of people who went through immense problems, and those especially are migrant workers.
Their plight is no secret to anyone and none other than actor Siddharth Arora, best known for his role in Mukti Bandhan went on to pen down poetry on the same. He even shared a composition of the same on his social media handle.
In an interview with Times of India, “After reading a lot of articles on the daily wagers and seeing some heart-rending visuals on them, a thought came across my mind, which I penned down, that has been compiled into a video with the help of my friend Shiva, who lives in Kolkata. In these rather trying times, when the mood is low for most people, the idea through the video was to spread the message that we should be thankful for all that we have as there are people who don’t even have the basic resources to survive,” said Arora.
He concluded, "Writing is something I dabbled in occasionally. The writer in me was always there as I had improvised on a lot of dialogues while playing various characters on different television shows but as lockdown is springing a lot of surprises with people getting to know about their hidden talent, so writing as a forte is something that has dawned on me during lockdown period."
