Siddhant Chaturvedi in Dostana 2?

The talks of Dostana 2 are buzzing hot around the town and the film will be produced by none other than Karan Johar. Meanwhile, the fans are super excited to see another fresh pair - Janhvi Kapoor and Kartik Aaryan on the big screen. Every day a news piece related to this film makes it to the headlines. 

Previously, the reports of actress Shilpa Shetty joining the cast of Dostana sequel has piqued the attention of the audience. Also, there were rumors that actor Siddhant Chaturvedi might be a part of Dostana 2. But a source close to Deccan Chronicle has refuted these reports.  "I don’t think Siddharth has even been approached for Dostana 2. This is clearly his PR team’s wishful thinking, He is a talented boy with a bright future. But he must curb his over-enthusiasm. It’s putting a lot of the industry’s bigwigs off," the source was quoted saying.

The Gully Boy sensation has impressed everyone with his performance and every filmmaker is keen to work with him.  Recently, reports were rife that Siddhant has been approached by Sunir Kheterpal for the Bollywood remake of Hollywood flick 'Departed'.

However, sources state that neither has the actor been approached for the movie nor has he had any talks with the film’s team on the same.

Reportedly, in Dostana 2 Janhvi and Kartik won't be romancing each other in the film. They both will be seen playing siblings who have the same love interest.
