While the nationwide lockdown has left everyone bounded within the four walls of our houses, there are many who are away from their loved ones in this difficult time. Actress Shrenu Parikh who returned to Mumbai from USA on March 15th opens up re-uniting with her family in Vadodara.

Shrenu spoke to the Times of India where she mentioned that her parents were quite anxious and were waiting for the day when she could return to Vadodara. She applied online and eventually she got the permission to travel by road from the authorities of both the states, Mumbai and Gujarat. Shrenu mentioned that she reached Vadodara on 6th May along with two of her friends and she completed her 14 day self quarantine at home on Wednesday i.e. 20th May.

Shrenu also mentioned that it was after 50 days that she was travelling on the roads and everything felt very different as there was no traffic and it was a journey like none other. She also added that the cops were very cooperative at all the checkpoints.

She also mentioned that it feels good to be home and in Mumbai she had no one to talk to in person. She also said that after doing all the household chores in Mumbai, she has started respecting her domestic help even more. "My parents have been working, but it’s after a long time that all of us are together in Vadodara," she added.

On the work front, Shrenu mentioned that she was in talks for a few projects before the lockdown but now given the current situation in Mumbai, everything is now uncertain.
