While injuries are a part and parcel of acting business, if the same happens rather too often, it certainly can be a concern for many. However, that is not the case with actor Shivin Narang, who stars as Rudra in Sony TV's Beyhadh 2. Only a few days ago, we reported about how Narang turned out to be a savior for co-star Jennifer Winget while performing a scene in the show. However, this time around, he went on to injure himself.
It so happened that Narang had to run while shooting a scene and he fell down injuring his hand. He went on to ignore it initially considering it is minor but by evening, the injury seemingly worsened and his hand was swollen. Following that, Narang was admitted to the hospital in Andheri where he was diagnosed with a hairline fracture.
In an interview with Bombay Times, Narang said, ":“The scene involved my on-screen younger brother and me chasing each other in the bedroom. That’s when I fell on my hand. Since it’s a fracture, I have had to cancel my New Year plans with family; I had planned a trip to Mahabaleshwar. I will also not be able to shoot for a couple of days. I am thankful to God that I was discharged and was able to spend time with my parents. During my earlier two shows, too, I had suffered many injuries. This is a part and parcel of our job. Hopefully, 2020 will be a good year without any injuries.”
We also hope the same and wish Narang has a speedy recovery.
