Shivangi Khedkar treats me like her baby sister: Priyanka Dhavale of Mehndi Hai Rachne Wali

Star Plus show ‘Mehndi Hai Rachne Wali’is getting a lot of love and adulation from the fans. The show is heading towards an interesting twist as soon Pallavi and Mandar would come face to face. In the previous episode, it was revealed that Sunny is the one who’s responsible for Mandar’s accident.

The fans are loving the intriguing story of the show. India Forums got in touch with actress Priyanka Dhavale who plays the character of Amruta Deshmukh in the show. Amruta was initially a grey shaded character, however, now viewers have witnessed a transition in her as she has now turned positive. We asked the beautiful actress about the transition, she said, “I’m totally loving the transition from a grey shaded character to a positive one. Honestly, I didn’t expect that Amruta will turn positive. It’s a nice experience. I feel with time Amruta has evolved and has become mature. I prefer the positive side of the character because it connects with audiences more and the feedback has been quite overwhelming”.

When asked about her off-screen bond with the actors of the show, Priyanka added, “I vibe with Shivangi aka Pallavi, Ajinkya Joshi aka Milind Deshmukh and Farhad aka Himanshu Bamzai. It’s great to be around them. Shivangi is a sweetheart. She treats me like her baby sister. She is a phenomenal actress and equally nice human being. Talking about Ajinkya Joshi, I call him ‘Baba’ even offscreen. I get that vibe from him. He is very supportive and motivating. He helps me with my scenes and otherwise as well. Himanshu is the live wire on the sets. He is always up with some jokes which result in lightening up the atmosphere on the sets. It’s always fun and laughter when Himanshu is on the sets”.
