Shivangi Joshi has indeed come a long way, right from her stint in Begu Sarai through Beintehaa and now Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, where she has received immense love from the viewers and continues to do so.

The show has underwent multiple changes, and brought in various leaps; it was one such leap that made way for Shivangi aka Naira's entry into the show. With Yeh Rishta... now hitting yet another new phase, in conversation with India-Forums, she talked about her journey and her parents' struggle that has in turn led her into becoming who she is today.

Talking about her parents, she said, "If mom wouldn't have been here, I wouldn't have been here either. For me, she left my two young brothers (who were younger back when we left) with my father, and I think my father and my mother have sacrificed equally as much. It is difficult for my father to bring up two kids there, and here, it is equally difficult for my mother to keep up with me (laughs). Hats off to my parents, and I love them, had it not been for them, I wouldn't have been here, and of course, my fans as well."

Well, indeed, hats off to her parents for having been such a support and to her too for being able to bear the fruits of their struggle.
