Shilpa Shinde: I was nervous about performing on Madhuri Dixit's song in front of her

Popular for her character 'Angoori Bhabhi' in And TV's show 'Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai and her stint in Bigg Boss 11, Shilpa Shinde is all set to make a grand comeback with another popular reality show. Well, we are talking about the actress's stint in Colors Tv's upcoming dance reality show 'Jhalak dikhhla jaa's' 10th season. Talking about her comeback and her first performance to us, the actress expressed her thoughts in an exclusive conversation at the press launch of the show.

We asked Shilpa about her grand comeback and how excited she was about the same. Replying to this the actress stated, ''Well, I am really very excited about the show. Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa is coming back on television 5 years after my stint in Bigg Boss 11. Looks like the show was waiting for me, so when I was offered Jhalak, I immediately agreed on being a part of it.''

The contestants of 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa' have already shot for the opening episode of the show recently. Talking about her opening act Shilpa revealed that she really admires judge Madhuri Dixit and that when she entered the industry, she'd pray to god to be like Madhuri someday. Shilpa further added, ''Performing in front of her? Well, I was performing in front of her on her song. So I was really nervous about emoting the expressions. Because let's be honest, there is no one like Madhuri Dixit. Nevertheless, was happy that I was given her song for my opening act in the show and my choreographer Nischal choreographed the act really well.''

Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 10 is all set to go on air on the 3rd of September on Colors Tv. The show will witness popular names like Nia Sharma, Gashmeer Mahajani, Rubina Dilaik, Mr. Faisu, Niti Taylor and a few more actors apart from Shilpa Shinde in the show.
