Shilpa Shetty pledges her Monetary Donation to the PM's Relief Fund!

Coronavirus pandemic has left the world in terror as people across the globe have adopted self-quarantine. However, this has also left the needy without food and strained their livelihood. The shocking and unprecedented exodus of these poor citizens has left the nation numb. Now, several Bollywood celebrities are pledging their support by offering monetary sums to PM Modi’s relief funds. 

A series of official statements from Bollywood celebrities have surfaced on social media as they gradually make these donations.

In an official statement released by Shilpa, she revealed her donation for humanity and the fellow citizens of the country. Taking to her Twitter and Instagram handle she wrote; “For humanity, our country, & fellow citizens that need us; now is the time, let’s do our bit. @TheRajKundra  & I pledge 21 lacs to @narendramodi ji‘s PM-CARES Fund. Every drop in the ocean counts, so I urge you all to help fight this situation. #IndiaFightsCorona @PMOIndia”

Shilpa has joined the league of many celebrities donating graciously during this tough time that the nation is facing. Akshay Kumar donated a whopping amount of Rs 25 crore towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s PM-CARES fund to help the government in its fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
