Amid the crippling Covid-19 crisis, India has continuously faced the brunt of the escalating coronavirus cases. Many celebrities have been sharing messages and spreading awareness and urging fans to wear a mask and stay safe on their social media handles.

From Sonu Sood, Dia Mirza, Sushmita Sen, Priyanka Chopra Jonas to Bhumi Pednekar, celebrities have been doing their bit to help others in need. Now, actress Shilpa Shetty has also joined the bandwagon.

Taking to her Instagram handle, Shetty urged her fans to keep faith and hope as we battle the second wave of the novel coronavirus pandemic. Reflecting on the current Covid-19 situation, she wrote that the news of Covid deaths and faltering medical infrastructure leads the mind to very dark places.

However, she also highlighted that strangers helping people is reassuring and asked her fans to believe that it will get better from here.

Sharing a picture of her performing yoga, she added the quote, “Overthinking will destroy your happiness and your mood. It'll make everything worse than it actually is. Take a deep breath, exhale and have faith. What's meant to be will be (sic).”

Her caption read: “We’re all reading about the actual situation around us and it is absolutely devastating. This news plays on the mind all the time and leads the mind to very dark places. But then, there are posts and news about complete strangers helping people desperately in need of help. People who are cooking meals for COVID patients living alone, volunteers driving down to people needing medical assistance, and doctors providing information & guidance via online sessions. So reassuring! If we can do something for someone, we definitely must! But if not, don’t panic excessively. Tune out for a little while, inhale deeply, and believe that it will get better from here (sic).”

She added, “Live in the NOW. Together, we WILL overcome this. We will walk through this time towards a better tomorrow. Faith and hope are what we need right now #MondayMotivation #SwasthRahoMastRaho #mentalhealth #faith #hope #positivity #yoga #yogasehihoga #FitIndiaMovement #FitIndia #yogisofinstagram #mentahealthmatters (sic).”
