Sherlyn Chopra accuses Raj Kundra of sexual misconduct: He kissed me even though I resisted

Raj Kundra and his company seem to have come under a difficult spot and more trouble seems to be mounting for the businessman as he is under 14-day judicial custody. Sherlyn Chopra has openly spoken against the businessman’s app - HotShots and now, she has also accused him of sexual misconduct.

The 37-year-old actor reportedly appeared from the Mumbai Crime Branch's Property Cell to record her statement in connection with the pornography case, reported Times of India. 

She had even issued an FIR against Raj in April 2021 of sexual assault. He was reportedly charged under section 376 of Indian Penal Code r/w section 384, 415, 420, 504 and 506, 354 (a) (b) (d), 509, of Indian Penal Code, 67, 67 (A), of Information Technology Act 2008, sec 3 & 4 of Indecent Representation of Women Act 1986.

Sherlyn Chopra, in her complaint, revealed that Raj Kundra had called her business manager in early 2019 and wanted to discuss a proposal that he wanted to discuss. After the business meeting on March 27, 2019, Sherlyn claimed that Raj once showed up “unannounced” at her place following an argument between them and tried to “kiss” her even though she “resisted”, reported ETimes.

She further alleged that despite her resistance, Raj started kissing her. Sherlyn claimed she did not want to get involved with a married man nor mix business with pleasure. To which Raj told her his relationship with his wife Shilpa Shetty was complicated and he was stressed most of the time at home.

She asked him to stop as she was scared and after a while, she managed to push him and rushed into the washroom, added Sherlyn.
