Shehnaaz Gill to resume work with shoot for Honsla Rakh's promotional song

For a while now, Shehnaaz Gill's return to work has been awaited as the producers of Honsla Rakh, her upcoming film with Diljit Dosanjh, wanted to give her time to grieve the loss of friend, Sidharth Shukla. The actor passed away on September 2 due to a cardiac arrest and his untimely demise left everyone in shock, including Shehnaaz. She was last seen at the late actor's final rites, and has been away from the media glare ever since.

Honsla Rakh is scheduled for a release on October 15, and the makers have been waiting for the actress as the shoot for a promotional song was due. While the shoot was supposed to take place on September 15, it has to be postponed due to the unfortunate incident. Meanwhile, she did not promote the trailer of the film either. And now, reports in The Times of India have it that she will be shooting with the team on October 7.

Producer Diljit Thind, while speaking to them, said that he was in touch with Shehnaaz's team constantly and they were taking updates. He mentioned that he is glad that the actress is shooting for the song and it depends upon her visa as to if they will shoot in India or UK.

He also spoke about how has Shehnaaz been keeping up and mentioned that she is still grieving the loss as it has been a difficult time. He also said how he knows that it must have taken a lot of courage for her to say yes for the shoot and that she is like family to them, which is why they don't want to impose anything on her. He concluded by saying that he wishes for her to get back to her regular work schedule for her own sanity.
