Shehnaaz Gill feels Bigg Boss 14 contestants lack the drive to play, Says 'watching the show for Sidharth'

Bigg Boss 14 is currently into its second week and while a lot has been happening, the seniors continue to be the centre of attention for the viewers. Hina Khan, Gauahar Khan and Sidharth Shukla are the 'toofani seniors' this season and many feel that they have been overpowering the contestants. And well, it looks like Bigg Boss 13 contestant Shehnaaz Gill agrees to it to an extent as well.

Shehnaaz, while talking about the season to ETimes TV, went on to add how people will eventually see everyone's true colours and it is hard to act all sweet and nice as the show brings out the real you. She also added how the show tests both you, and your patience and feels that the contestants seem to be confused as of now and they are too reliant on the seniors. In addition, she also highlighted how though the seniors are present to create a connection with the audience, the freshers are not playing their own game and there is a lack of competition here.

Also talking about her own season, she adds how back in their season, everyone gave their best from the very beginning and she does not see that kind of drive in any contestant this season because seniors are there and they are being remote-controlled by them.

Given how people feel that Sidharth is owning this season as well and that it feels like an extension to some, Shehnaaz seems to have some more insight while also adding that there is a reason why the seniors are present inside the house. None the less, she admits that Sidharth is the TRP king and that she feels many watch the show just for him. None the less, she also highlighted that the freshers are unable to mark a place for themselves inside the house because they are waiting for the seniors to leave to play their game.

She goes on to add, ''If I were a part of this season as a fresher, I wouldn’t follow a senior blindly. I have a mind of my own aur main sab danke ki chot par karoongi. My advice to the current contestants is, khud ka vajood rakho, lado, bhido ek dum sher ki tarah. Kisi ke aage peeche poonch ban kar mat raho. Apna game khelo without being selfish. Apna stand toh har koi le leta hai, but doosro ka stand lena seekho.”  

Ask her about who does she think is fake this season, Shehnaaz feels that no one is being seen enough, not even fake, and hence, adds that she is watching the show for as long as Sidharth is present and will stop watching once he exits. She also added how Sidharth is playing well and his comedy as well as flirting is looking good, even though some are judging him, but she knows his intentions are pure.
