Shefali Shah's iconic song 'Sapne Mein Milti Hai' from 'Satya' annoys her; here's why

Actor Shefali Shah has indeed gone through a resurgence in her career as one would term it where having starred in a few roles here and there back in the 2000s, Shah, in the past few years have managed to be the central figure of some of the finest films and web shows. 2022, especially, was a golden year for the actor where she starred in five successful projects ranging from Human, Jalsa to Darlings, Doctor G and Delhi Crime 2.

But for the ones belonging to the 90s, the best remembrance in respect to Shah's performance might indeed be her short but impactful role in Satya. As Bhiku Mhatre's wife, she had a full arc in the limited screen time she had. And in this limited screen time, she also starred in one of the most iconic songs of all time, Sapne Mein Milti Hai with Manoj Bajpayee's Bhiku Mhatre.

Interestingly though, Shah is now actually annoyed by the song. One wonders why! The actor confessed she gets annoyed by the song now as she shared that even though it is a lovely song, her friends actually play it everywhere she goes just to annoy her. And having heard it so many times, it becomes annoying indeed.

She further talked about how she is getting the recognition and work that wasn't coming her way earlier. The actress also hopes that this is just the beginning and there is much more left for her to do.

Shah was last seen in Doctor G and is scheduled to reprise her role in the second season of Human on Disney+ Hotstar.
