Shefali Jariwala: Sidharth was a dear friend and I am unable to fathom what has happened

Everyone in the media industry has been in shock with the news of the sudden demise of Sidharth Shukla. The Bigg Boss 13 winner was best known for his role in the long-running TV serial Balika Vadhu. He passed away in Mumbai after a massive heart attack. 

The whole industry is in shock. Shefali Jariwala, who was in a relationship with Sidharth and continued to be on good good terms with the actor post they parted ways, said, "I am shocked beyond belief. Sidharth was a dear friend and I am unable to fathom what has happened. It’s scary how unpredictable and fragile life can be. I can’t imagine what his family is going through and hope they find the strength to overcome this irreplaceable loss."

Sidharth and Shefali were in a serious relationship around a decade ago. She is now happily married to Parag Tyagi since 2014. 

Earlier in an interview with BollywoodLife, Shefali opened up about her renewed friendship with Sidharth. “See, initially we bonded and then we had a bad fight. After he came back from the secret room, our equation got better. Both of us are very logical people. Also, we have similar interests, we would talk about travel, space, bullet trains and what not. Even after we stopped dating, we were always cordial whenever we bumped into each other,” she said.
