She assisted in my upbringing as my mother: Priyanka Chopra pens heartfelt note for her Nani

Priyanka Chopra is a social media maven who has kept her admirers up to date. PeeCee took to social media after her 'Soul Sunday' in Los Angeles to reflect on the past, sharing a throwback picture calling it her Monday musings. Fans in India got to watch it early Tuesday morning due to the time difference.

In the picture, baby Priyanka can be seen sitting next to her Nani. Madhu Chopra, her cousin and mother, are seated next to her. PC also stated,

The Mary Kom actress recalled celebrating her Nani's birthday as a six-year-old when reflecting on 'strong mother figures' in her life. Priyanka shared a photo from her Nani's birthday and commented, 

"My Nani's (maternal grandmother's) birthday was celebrated by all six of us. She assisted in my upbringing as my mother and father juggled their studies and medical professions. She has been a constant in my life since I was a child. I consider myself really fortunate to have had so many strong maternal figures in my life. I'm eternally thankful to each and every one of you. Nani, I will always miss you."

Earlier this year, Priyanka and husband Nick Jonas welcomed their first child together via surrogacy. Ever since then, the couple has been in the US and not travelled elsewhere, unless for work. Meanwhile, PC's mum Madhu Chopra also revealed that she hasn't met her grand daughter yet.
