Sharvari Wagh to star in a historic drama opposite Aamir Khan's son Junaid?

Sharvari Wagh made her first appearance in the much-anticipated Bunty Aur Babli 2, but the movie's box office performance was disappointing. However, the movie opened numerous avenues for Sharvari, who was applauded for her acting skills. One of these opportunities appears to have driven her to sign on for a historical drama along with Aamir Khan's son Junaid Khan.

According to reports, Sharvari has signed on for Siddharth P Malhotra's directorial endeavour, a big-ticket project, titled Maharaja. Junaid Khan, Aamir Khan's son, will also make his Bollywood debut with the film.

 Sharvari, on the other hand, has not confirmed or denied the film. When asked about it, she stated, 

"I have a film with Yash Raj that will hopefully be released this year."

Talking about her breakthrough venture, Sharvari shared earlier that it gets easier to get in contact with the director post a successful film. She comes from a place where she has witnessed long queues outside the auditioning location. Hence, she takes up competition and opportunities differently. She added how the film might have not done well in terms of box office numbers but her performance was liked by many and that's what matters. 

Sharvari admitted that she is drawn to historical dramas. History is something that fascinates her. She added how she wanted to be a part of films that combine mythology and history. Further, she spoke about how these are films where women were portrayed as warriors, with their characters displaying a good balance of charisma and elegance. 

Sharvari has also been in the headlines because of her dating rumours with Vicky Kaushal's brother, Sunny Kaushal. She also attended Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif's wedding.
