Shahid Kapoor’s message for Ishaan spells Spirit of Brotherhood!

The best bro’s of Bollywood, Shahid Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter have been ruling hearts, thanks to their companionship and bromance. The two are often spotted cheering for each other and their bond only keeps getting stronger with time.

Shahid is a proud big brother, as Ishaan gears up for his upcoming film, titled Kaali Peeli, alongside Ananya Panday. The Dhadak actor recently took to his social media to announce that the team has finally started shooting for the romantic flick. He shared a picture of the clapboard of the film and wrote, “Alright guys, tuning in! (And out of Instagram for now). See you on the other side! (sic)”

As soon as Ishaan made the announcement, bade bhaiya Shahid was quick to drop a sweet comment on his picture. He wrote, “All the best #teamkhaalipeeli. Kill it Ishaan. I’m sure you will make us proud.” Well, that’s some spirit of brotherhood right there!

Talking of the film Kaali Peeli, the romantic action flick is being helmed by Maqbool Khan and produced by Zee Studios. Ishaan and Student of the Year star Ananya Panday will be seen for the first time together on the big screen. Set against the backdrop of Mumbai, the film is reportedly a love story of a guy and a girl who meet each other at night and things unravel after that. 

In a recent development, a new addition to the cast was announced. Alia Bhatt starrer Raazi fame Jaideep Ahlawat, has been locked in to play the role of a villain in the film. 

The makers of Kaali Peeli had dropped the first look a few days back, in which Ishaan and Ananya were seen posing against the backdrop of a taxi. The first poster was well received by the audience and fans are eagerly excited to see the fresh pair on screen. 

The film is slated to release next year dated June 12, 2020.
