Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor is currently engrossed in the promotions of his upcoming film, "Bloody Daddy." Well, the recently launched trailer has generated immense excitement among netizens, doubling their anticipation for the film. What makes this collaboration even more intriguing is that Shahid has teamed up with acclaimed director Ali Abbas Zafar for the first time, raising the bar of expectations for their collaboration.

In a recent interview, Shahid Kapoor made an interesting revelation about his personal preferences when it comes to his children, Misha and Zain, watching his work. He admitted that he doesn't like his kids witnessing his on-screen performances.

However, he shared that they recently had the opportunity to watch his film "Jab We Met" in theatres, marking their first experience seeing him on the big screen.

During an interaction with Instant Bollywood, Shahid Kapoor disclosed that it was his wife Mira who wanted their children to watch "Jab We Met," a film in which Shahid starred alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan. Mira's reasoning behind this choice was that it is the only film in Shahid's repertoire where he is not depicted hitting people. When asked about his children's reaction to seeing him on-screen, Shahid revealed, "I don't like them seeing me much. So, on their first day, their first question was 'Why do people come up to you?' because they hadn't seen much of my work. Now, recently they just saw 'Jab We Met.'"

He went on to share that when the film was re-released in theaters during the Valentine's Day week, his mother took Misha and Zain to watch it, as per Mira's wish. Mira wanted them to experience a film of his that has a family-friendly vibe, free from intense action sequences. Shahid expressed his belief that "Jab We Met" became the first film of his that his children saw.

Directed by Imtiaz Ali, "Jab We Met" was originally released in 2007 and garnered immense love from the audience, becoming an all-time favorite.

Still from Jab we Met

While Shahid's fans eagerly await the release of "Bloody Daddy" on June 9, exclusively on Jio Cinema, there is further anticipation surrounding his next project—an untitled film in which he will be sharing the screen with the talented actress Kriti Sanon.
