Shahid Kapoor on the kissing scene with Kangana Ranaut: It was keechady

Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani are busy promoting their upcoming movie Kabir Singh. The upcoming film is an official Hindi remake of Arjun Reddy, the audience is pretty eager to watch Shahid in a completely different avatar, a self-destructive lover. Shahid has played many different characters from a chocolate boy in Ishq Vishq to an empty souled Tommy Singh.

During one of the interviews when Shahid was asked about his liking for the towards playing unconventional and troubled characters, the Udta Punjab actor said, “I like playing characters which have enough meat in them, so that you can feel insecure and you can really need to raise the bar for yourself to achieve them. Thoda khoon toh mere dad ka hai mere andar, toh aisa kuch karna accha lagta hai (I’ve my father blood running in my veins, feels good to do such roles). I’ve grown up watching those movies and those performances.”

Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani recently shot an episode for Neha Dhupia’s Chat show. During this promotional spree, the actors left no stone unturned and made some interesting revelations. When Neha asked Shahid about his experience of kissing Kangana Ranaut in the mud while shooting for Rangoon, Shahid said, "That’s a really random question! Really random memories... Kuch yaad hi nahi aa raha hai. Blank ho gaya hoon main, yaar. If it was in the keechad, it was keechady." 

The two never shared a good equation due to which the atmosphere on the sets of Rangoon was tensed always. 

The upcoming remake is directed by Sandeep Vanga, who also directed the original movie. The film is all set to hit the theatres on June 21.
