Shaheer Sheikh's father seriously ill with COVID-19; actor asks everyone to pray for him

The third wave of COVID-19 has been rather difficult on everyone and many have been recovering. It was only recently that Hina Khan shared on social media how her entire family tested positive for COVID-19 and that she is now fighting and braving the virus once again to take care of everyone.

Now, Shaheer Sheikh took to social media today, as he mentioned how his father has not been doing well and is severe with a COVID-19 infection. He wrote: My dad is on a ventilator, suffering from a severe covid infection… pls keep him in your prayers .

He took to Twitter and here's what he said:

On the work front, Shaheer is all geared for an upcoming show with Rajan Shahi featuring him, along with Hiba Nawab, among others. The actor spoke about the same earlier and mentioned how he was convinced to do the show owing to his trust in the producer and hence, there was no second ways about it. Meanwhile, the new season of Shaheer Sheikh and Ankita Lokhande's Pavitra Rishta...is all set to hit the screens soon and the the trailer of the same came out just today.
