The pandemic has been relatively difficult on everyone, however, people have been trying to find what they are thankful for and continue to express gratitude. Shaheer Sheikh, who is shooting for Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi 3, spoke about resuming shoot and stated that he does not have another source of income and while he has savings to survive, the others in the unit don;t have the resources. He added that his shows have made him who he is today and hence, it is their responsibility to create job opportunities for them as not everyone wants to depend on charity. He added how everyone is happy to be working and shooting.
Talking about staying home and the unrest as far as the lockdown is concerned, the actor added how it is a tricky time for mental health. He told Hindustan Times, “In the last few months, especially, every day one has been hearing of some or the other bad news. Back home some of my relatives in Jammu passed away, including an uncle I was close to. Covid has affected so many young people. All of this new and everyone is learning. So many people are on ground helping people. It shows humanity is still alive. So many TV actors have stepped out -physically. I thought I was a balanced man but the crisis has affected me. I meditate to rejuvenate. There seems to be no reason to be motivated due to Covid. It is a tricky time for mental health but thankfully, what matters is that we are getting better.”
As for the work opportunities available, the actor admits that a lot has been affected and everyone is going through a major crisis. However, he also believes that people can fix it by coming together and helping each other out by doing whatever one can and also create resources for the future.
Apart from the show, Shaheer was recently seen in a music video with Hina Khan titled Baarish Ban Jaana and the song has been received very well.
